Frozen Oxbow State Park

These photos are from a couple of months ago. Bill and I went to Oxbow State Park and it was freezing! Cold weather causes water molecules to do cool things. My frozen fingertips were worth a few fun pics.

I don't know why, but the pic above reminds me of Wilson from Cast Away.

OoooooooOOoooooHhhhhhhh...... Scary ghost!

Bill was contemplating whether he could successfully make the jump....
....and he didn't even try, which was good, because the boulders were ankle-breaking-making and the camera on his back is worth a few bucks.
Fun Day on the river!

art is fun.

When I walked through my house for the first time, many areas spoke to me. No area spoke to me more than the attic though. I immediately envisioned an artistic space with natural light next to the window for painting.

Today I finally broke out my new paints (Thanks Billyboy!) from Christmas and used this space just how I had envisioned it last February. It's only been a year!

I started painting at 8:30 this morning and I'm still sitting in my new favorite spot right now (12:43Am). Of course I worked out and ran errands on this drizzly Saturday, but I spent most of the day up here, goofing off and becoming friends with my expressive side.
It feels good to be home.
