running a river

I had a quick trip to Hood River last summer and was lucky enough to tag along with some kayakers! I was in the big boat, and even flipped it, but had a blast!!!

Hood River/White Salmon is a beautiful area. Would be wonderful to have a cabin there some day......

pac city year 3

This last July we had our 3rd annual stay at the Pacific City Beach house. Pacific City never gets old. It is beautiful and my favorite place on the Oregon Coast. I always take a ton of photos to document the family fun. Here are a some (several) of those photos!

fam reunion

Dad, BJ and Grandma Louise drove up from Las Vegas to see the family. Alix and Corrie also made the trip from Fox Island and Whidbey Island. It was such a wonderful family reunion. Of course, we missed Scott and his family! A good time was had by all!

How cute is this little pumpkin? Her name is Zayne and she belongs to my Cousin Alix and her hubby Brandon. She is so precious!

Wahtum lake

Wahtum lake is a very convenient and beautiful place to get away for some peaceful time in nature. You can park relatively close, and just hike in a half mile or so. It is also on the Pacific Crest Trail, so you have some nice day hike options. 

I got lucky and found a spot hidden away right on the water. It was perfect and exactly what I needed that weekend.
